What are the dates of the escape?
Dates are Friday November 4 (starts at 6pm) through Sunday November 6 (ends at noon).
I hate that I’m never able to make it. The escape always either coincides with or comes too close to my state counseling conference (TCA). Is it possible for you to upload more clips of the sessions, do webinars (I’d pay for that) or maybe have some of the attendees do some guest blogs? I want to be able to live vicariously through you guys since I can’t attend!
Please and Thank You from a manic mommy in West Texas!
This sounds fun and I would love to go if I get all of my ducks in a row. I’m single mother of three boys…two which are in college and my baby is entering his freshman year in hs. Just need to have a price list…
Thanks,
Maura
Escape ticket is $180 (includes all meal events and cocktail parties–you only have to worry about dinner Saturday night and any other shopping, spa treatments or bar bills you might accumulate). Even your airport transfers are complimentary thanks to Chevrolet.
Room rate is $129/night (single-quad). We will do roommate matching if there’s interest!
Flights–we are trying to find a group travel partner to help us get some discounts, but what better reason is there to cash in those credit card points or airline miles if you have ‘em?!
[...] unique chance to meet our listeners, as well as other ‘crazy busy’ moms, at our annual Manic Mommies Escape. Now in our fifth year (!) it’s our opportunity to not only connect with the women who [...]
I wish I could come too.
But it never works out for me.
I’m an elementary school teacher, and of course school will be in session. Unfortunately, in this cash-poor district, if we need a substitute for our class, we have to pay for them out of our paychecks (which are too small anyways). As a single mom now, paying for a sub and paying a babysitter for my 5 girls for the weekend is just too much.
I could have come last year when it was in Napa, which is only a 40-minute drive from home, but it sold out way too quickly. I really hope you do another one closer to the west coast, or maybe a mini-retreat in the summer. I can’t be the only one who can’t get away during the school year!
We are really excited about the Escape and all of the events sound great! I am especially looking forward to the cooking demonstration on Sunday. I hope more people sign up now that school is in session and it’s time to plan the fall.
I so wish that I could come. I promise you it has nothing to do with the hostesses. My issue is that I have two things that I can’t get out of that weekend and now my husband informed me that he will be out of town that weekend too.
I know that some day I will be able to attend.
Just a reminder, it’s only because i’m due with #2 in Dec. (at christmas -ugh!) and the flights are crazy expensive, and maybe because i’m on quilting retreat the weekend before. NOT because the hostesses don’t rock my world. because you DO! had tons of fun getting to hang out with Kristen in Minneapolis, if you’re ever this way (now in WI) would definitely do it again.
those of you who can make it, enjoy the fabulous weekend!!! Thanks for all the work you did to assemble the crazy fun weekend ladies, even if i can only enjoy it vicariously on the podcast!
I’m with Sandra – if I weren’t due with #3 that very weekend, I’d be there already waiting for you gals! I had SO much fun last year. It was awesome meeting so many people and I went alone! My roomie and I (whom I found in the Big Tent) were compatible and it was nice to have someone to do things with – or not.
I’m sorry I can’t make it this year but do hope you have another. And if not, perhaps you’ll have a Meet Up in New England soon! Hope it’s a blast ladies!
Toni – I second your motion to move future escapes further West next year…
I cannot attend either and am so scared this may be the last one.
Either way, I appreciate all the Manic Mommies do! Keep up the great work ladies….

We just added a new DAY PASS for Saturday only. Local moms, come join us for the day!
I’m so excited to be attending my third Escape… and can’t wait to see some of my MM Friends and Erin & Kristin again too! Fantastic workshops… now to figure out which one to attend… pleasant problemo. Laissez les bons temps rouler – let the good times roll!
I want to go sooooo bad!!! If finances weren’t so tight right now I would be there in a heartbeat!! I hope the Escape will continue as an annual event, I’d love to be able to join you all one day.
Where do we add our flight arrival time to see if we can get a ride in a Chevy to the hotel? I thought you guys mentioned in the podcast to do that but I don’t see a link. I didn’t have flight info when I originally registered. thanks and looking forward to a super fun weekend!
@Kellie, you should be able to log back into eventbrite and add that information yourself from the event page. Let us know if you can’t.

Sorry, Erin, I’m not seeing where to log in our flight info to make sure we can get a lift to the hotel.
Thanks, Erin. I put it in the survey but we arrive in morning so I guess we re out of luck unless y’all add morning cars. Will there be escape t-shirts available for purchase at the escape? If not, how do I order one?
Ladies, all registrants will get an email from me with more details, but when you arrive to the airport look for a driver with a Manic Mommies/Chevy sign. We may have some drivers available earlier on Friday so if you are coming in before noon, look for a sign in the baggage claim area.
And here’s the link to order a T-shirt
