As I write this my kids are tucked into the fold away bed in our hotel suite, tuckered out after another long fun-filled day. Like most days of this February vacation it was also filled with tears, whining, complaining, bickering, and a little hitting.
The kids didn’t behave very well either. (Thank you. I’ll be here all night).
We left the snow behind last Friday and have been soaking in the sun – first on a Royal Caribbean cruise, and now in the Orlando area. I will share more, but after two days spent at Legoland and Universal Studios, all I want to do is collapse.
So for now, I’ll share this photo of the kids taken as we prepared to board the boat.

I try to remember these moments, especially when they are trying to kill each other.

Ah !
So you mean to tell us your couple and kids are normal ?

Still jealous. Need me some sun. But I recorded the show today without you. I hope listeners will find it a worthy substitute. Didn’t think we could take two weeks off…
At least my kids weren’t the only ones whining on a cruise. Royal Caribbean is the thing I guess as we just got back from a week on Explorer of the Seas (NJ-Port Canaveral-Bahamas). Can’t wait to hear more about your family vacation and about the half-marathon at Disney!
Thanks, as always, for your honesty! We’ve been snowed in and the fighting between siblings drives me bananas… Hard to focus on the sweet ones like the pic you captured.
Love the composition and use of depth of field on this, Kristin! They are so your and Steve’s “mini-me” kids…
