Sexy Shoes from TJ Maxx

It’s the night before the puppy arrives to change Erin’s life forever. Before Casey arrives we discuss warnings from well-meaning friends, and Kristin’s failed attempt at a 7-day sex challenge. We also interviewed Andrea Lyons, CEO and founder of Bring Back Desire, a subscription service providing erotic literature for women looking to “get out of their head and back into bed.”

I was dying to see what these looked like when you talked about them on the podcast! I’m sure your man won’t be stingy man when he sees these pumps on ya!

Awesome show (as always)! This is a great topic as many of us do get wrapped up in day to day stress and don’t unwind and enjoy ourselves – or our husbands – enough. Thanks for the fun interview and good links. :)

PS – We just got “Where Did I Come From?” for our kids based on recommendations in the Big Tent. Good book.

    Wow. Thems some sexy heels!

BTW, I was listening to this podcast this morning and had to comment about Sophie’s letters. My almost 7-year-old son does this and has been doing it since he was 4. When he’s angry and mad (a lot of the time) he will write me a letter. Sometimes just a one liner, but usually it’s an entire paragraph about how terrible I am. I’ve totally embraced this part of him. I receive the letter, read it out loud to him and then correct his spelling. Possibly weird, but by the time he’s corrected his spelling of meanest and stupid he’s no longer angry and has learned a couple things. The best part of this is the love notes I get when he’s happy with me. Those definitely are sweet and I never correct the spelling on those notes!

Kristin, my husband also would get so wrapped up in a video game that he’d forget a “Challenge.” Fun show!

PS. I thought that I heard in the last podcast that you might be phasing out the Big Tent. Is that why you haven’t approved new members recently?

LOL! I listened to the episode today and what happens for the first time tonight?! My almost 8 year old writes a note to his dad that says “Dear Papa, I hate you” As far as I know he’s never written a note like that until tonight! Oh my… guess we’ve just got to embrace it. I’m sure there will be many more to come! On a side note, his handwriting on the note was really good… thats not usually the case! Oh boys!!

I have to say that I laughed out loud driving today when I was listening. Kristin, I haven’t heard the term “conniption fit” in I don’t know how long. Hilarious.

I also loved the term, “get out of your head and into the bed”. Genius!
    Love it, ladies!

Can you share your favorite “romance” novels? I recommend Slow Hands. It’s free at the kindle store.
