After living in Rochester for two days, Erin is back in Massachusetts. On her way way BACK to New York, the Mommies meet up in a parking lot (it’s a drive by podcast) where we catch up on the last week as well as discuss the oil spill in the Gulf, the worst parenting book ever, stay at home dads (a new trend?), our new calendars and the Escape.

Hey Erin and Kristin!!!
Just FYI- the MP3 link for this show takes you to show 218…I’m attempting to use the RSS link to listen to this week’s show instead. Who can wait to synch the ipod up at home??? I have to listen on the computer at work. I NEED my Manic Mommies!!! Love ya’ll!!! Thanks for the new show when I know ya’ll are a hot mess.
Thanks for the heads up! The link should be fixed.
Half way through your episode. You gals rock. Anyway my daughter who is 4 is obsessed with the oil spill, she talks about it daily in the backseat of the car. She is particularly saddened to hear about all the animals are affected and how the beaches are dirty. Just gives her another reason why she doesn’t want to go to the beach and we live outside Boston. I can’t wait to hear your interview on how to talk to kids about it, cause I don’t want her to be scared.
Also I loved your interview for ESP, I read half the book and although I couldn’t go ESP 100% I think my husband and I do a pretty good job and I really wouldn’t change much.
Hi Erin & Kristin – Jen, your fitness guru, all the way from Singapore. Thanks for the shout out Erin…YES – I am really looking forward to attending this year’s Escape!
I was thinking we could do a session on shopping nutritously, as well as a bootcamp session ??!
And I’m bringing another Manic Mommy fried of mine from CT…wait til you hear what she does for a living – she sells for a makeup line! You’ll love her!
Kristin –
Just wondering how your “bike to work” is coming along.
Kristin-
Was just on the Wegman’s website making up my grocery list (because they are THAT awesome), and saw that they are planning to build two in MA!! One is in Northborough (2011) and one is in Westwood (year TBA). Woo hoo for you! (and yes, I want to know how the biking to work is going, too. It’ll be 99 here on Monday. I’ll take my A/C, thankyouverymuch.)
Amy
I’m going to write a post about it, but the cycling to work is going great! I rode on Monday, both ways, and came into work this morning on the bike.
Thanks for the podcast, I listen at work and get funny looks when I laugh out loud. Told my DD and DDIL they had to listen. On my way to Office Depot to get the calandar. I’ve always had a family calandar, with each child’s activities in a different color…all children are grown, but still mark my DH’s and my activities in different colors, lol.
Kristin – well done on the biking to work! I love it. Exercize before you even hit the office! Do let us know how it’s going!
