The new year approaches, and with it an opportunity to get organized (or at least make an resolution about getting organized that may, or may not, make it past January 15th).
And what’s better to help you get organized than a Manic Mommies “It’s All on the Wall” calendar from Mead?

We’re giving away 10 copies of our calendar! Just leave a comment here, telling us how many “extra-curricular” activities your family is signed up for each week.

Violin lessons, Sunday School and playgroup once a week for my daughter. Handbell choir and call committee for me. Do prenatal appointments and ultrasounds count? I have those until April.
Just 3, choir, and gymnastics (2 diffrent classes) – but my girls are in 2 diffrent schools about 15 miles apart…and one of my children is special needs…..so I generally have 2-3 medical appointments any given week on top of the extra-curiculars, and a playdate every-other week…so I could so use a tool to help keep me organzed!
7-yr-old son: Games Club at school, Recorder lessons, “Kinderkirche”, Soccer, and Swimming
5-yr-old daughter: Music lessons, “Kinderkirche”, Soccer, Swimming
Mom: water aerobics, praise team, Bible Study
Thankfully, some of those are held in the same place, if not at the same time. I’m not sure how I’d manage otherwise.
Kids – karate, tumbling, girl scouts, drama club, soccer, softball
Me – keeping them all going in the right direction!
My six year old daughter is in girls scouts on Monday, Ballet on Tuesday and tumbling on Wednesday. I go to Zumba on Wednesday and Saturday.
Zero.
Incredible but true!
Gymnastics once a week and soccer three times a week (but we just finished soccer *yeah*). Next is martial arts once a week too. I still have time before entering the e.c. world with my littlest one.
We have basketball once per week, piano lessons once per week, and probably something else starting soon now that basketball just ended.
We have 5 ec’s right now!
BTW spotted the MM calendar here at TARGET in Cedar Park, TX!!! Tried to take a pic with my phone but stupid phone was giving me trouble.
ON a weekly basis:
Mom – 3
Dad – 3
Son#1 – 2
Son #2 – 1
Son #2 – 1
Daughter – 1
Well, I work part-time (ha ha ha) with a husband who travels often for work, a baby and a pre-schooler who require 2 different drop off locations and a 90 minute long commute. Any time something disrupts this tight schedule, it’s CHAOS! Hopefully the calendar will help keep us on schedule!!
I don’t have any planned each week (as my kids are rather young) but there is rarely a weekend that goes by where we don’t have at least 2-3 outings/events planned.
Since my kids are only 4 and 2 the only activities is my sons karate and CCD classes along with the occasional birthday party but I’m sure as they get older that will change drastically
We have finally narrowed it down to just one! Thank Goodness! It used to be about three and it got to be too much for us!
Let’s see – my 3 yr old daughter has dance every Monday for 2 1/2 hrs and my 7 yr old daughter has dance on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday for anywhere from 2-3 1/2 hrs (depending on the day). On Tuesday she has catechism for an hour. My 9 yr old son has soccer practice Tuesday and Wednesday for 1 1/2 hrs each day and up until this past Saturday had a game every Saturday and/or Sunday (season just ended). The only day(s) we don’t have anything is Friday and/or Sunday. I so look forward to those days! Starting January my daughters start dance competition one weekend a month. It’s no wonder I’m so EXHAUSTED!! I work full time too. But I wouldn’t have it any other way – ask me again in a couple of months though!
Even though they are only 4 months and 2 years old… my little ones are a hoppin’ with gymnastics, swimming, school, birthday parties and everything else!
Ok I am a single mom! One son that has speech, therapy, judo and church youth group meetings. I have school (going for my masters!) work of course, belly dancing, hawaiian dance and I am a religous education teacher!
Now that soccer for both kids is finally DONE and my 5 year old just “quit” ballet – our weekly list has lightened to 3 afternoon activities (Spanish, Chinese & Cub Scouts).
Sometimes I think 0 would be a FANTASTIC number!
The Hubby and I are on call 24/7 does that count?
Two girls – 6 & 2. I try to limit the “extra-curricular” activities to one-at-time or possibly two, if the overlap isn’t for too long. In a time of everyone being “overbooked”, I’m trying to keep the evenings for family time, as long as I can. The oldest is in dance and on occasion soccer or swimming. Nothing for the youngest yet. But I know that day is fast approaching.
My pre-schoolers have swim class every Saturday. With preschool, followed by daycare (they don’t get home until 6pm, if they are lucky!) that’s a full day for them on weekdays.
so far just 2 days of preschool & one day of daycare, but since our oldest in only four…i’m sure this will change!
