Like many parents, Erin and I often get the question “how do you DO it all?” And maybe we—wives, moms, friends, communicators, podcasters, bloggers, entrepreneurs, event organizers and new media mavens—are extreme cases of trying to “do it all . . . and then some.”
As we’ve come into our own as parents, and adjusted to our ever-changing lives as working moms (and unofficial ambassadors of “crazy busy” moms worldwide), we’ve developed methods to help keep our families on track, even while we are away.
Now, through our new partnership with Embassy Suites, we’ve been given the opportunity to share our tips, tricks and ideas with other parents through their newly redesigned site, BusinessBalance.com. As the site’s “work/life balance” experts (yes, we think it’s funny too), we will be writing about juggling the demands of work and family, as well as answering questions from visitors to the site.
And we are in good company! Jenn and Erin of Fit Bottomed Girls will be sharing ideas on how to keep fit when on the road, while Michael and Jane from Road Food will be writing about food (how cool is their job?).

Congrats on finding another avenue to share your wisdom & humor!
I can’t believe you two can add one more thing! Congrats and this sounds like a fun resource.
I have one tip from traveling every month for a year: make sure to call the kids nightly to say good night. I never let a day go, even if it meant a call from the bathroom, to say good night to the kids and hubby at home. It just made me a part of the bedtime routine.
Good luck on this new adventure. It’s great to have listened from show 10 until now. You’ve really grown, and I appreciate the raw truthfulness of how crazy busy mom’s feel.
