Save the Date—November 6-8, 2009 for the annual Manic Mommies Escape. This year’s event will be held in Napa, California at the quaint Embassy Suites Napa Valley.
Registration will open in the next couple of weeks. But here’s an at-a-glance look at what you need to know:
* We’ve locked in is an incredible room rate (you will book your own rooms through our Web site once we have the link live) that’s truly beyond belief
* Embassy Suites guests receive a fresh, made-to-order breakfast each morning and complimentary cocktails each afternoon (meaning more money for spa treatments)
* Private, in-room spa treatments are available as are several beautiful local spas
* We’re already talking to some great speakers for general sessions and will be modifying Mom U. based on your feedback.
* We’re keeping the Book Club and adding in more opportunities to make new friends (Manic Mommies Trivia anyone?)

So glad you are bringing the Escape to the west coast – finally I can come and play too. And by November, my now 5-week-old will be 7 months old and I will be ready for a mini-break. =)

My office is already aware I will be gone. The ex knows he will have the kiddo. The friends have been notified and one is already on board. I will now have to pack… OH WAIT. I have 6 months to wait… drat… Well, I am in – at least I can say that!
Having been to Napa once before, I distinctly remember thinking that it would be the PERFECT destination for a group of girlfriends. What a great idea, ladies!

Yeah!!! I’m with Toni and delighted that it will be on the West Coast (and close to my home in the Bay Area).
Should be much easier to convince the husband that we can afford it this year (a losing argument last year).
Yay! Been listening since TTC, and will finally be a mommy this year!! DS will be 5 months by then, so I’m sure I’ll have earned my first escape! Can’t wait!!

What airport is best to fly into?
Just booked my room!!! I’m bringing my Mom. We’re flying into San Francisco. You can fly in there and make your way up to Napa or fly into Sacramento and make your way down.
