Did you know that Sunday, September 21 is National Women’s Friendship Day? I didn’t either! (Surely some publicist somewhere thought this up). I received the sweetest gift in the mail the other day, created especially for me by Paige, mom of two girls and founder of PunkinDoodle Designs. The note pad says “from the mom of” and then includes the names of my boys and my name at the bottom. Get your own here.

iLunchbox
A week into the school year, I am already done with packing lunch boxes! I’ve shaken things up a bit by introducing cinnamon swirl bread in place of wheat, and making rollups with shaved ham, but it’s pretty much the same routing every morning: sandwich, fruit, gogurt and two snacks for am and pm. So I was happy to discover a new website with a fresh take on the lunch.

iCarly Season 1 Now Available on DVD

The View-Watch It Now
The Ladies of The View have been so fun to watch this election season. I confess to never missing an episode when I am working at home. They have such disparate views (well, maybe it’s really only one of them) but it’s a great conversation to watch. For those of you who work in a real office, think about adding it to your TiVo, at least for the next few weeks. Here’s a great clip from one of the more recent exchanges. That Joy, I love her!
