If you’ve been listening to this podcast for as many years as we’ve been producing it, you’ll probably think: I’ve heard this show before.

It seems like every year the traditions we hold so dear cause us some sort of angst. Christmas card photos, cookie parties, neighborhood gatherings, teacher gifts, the list is long and the time, well…you know.

This year Erin also has the added expense of emergency stomach surgery for her dog.

I also use a google doc to track holiday purchases. I added a budget column for each person and subtract purchases from there. Big red negative number when I go over helps me keep the spending in check.

I can’t get your holiday shopping template to work. I really wanted to check it out. Is it me?

  3. I couldn’t get that holiday shopping template to work either and I was really really REALLY hoping that I could take advantage of Kristin’s hard work! :)

it also didn’t work for me.

I was also looking for the template–such a great idea. Here’s another one I found if you want to borrow someone else’s work:

    BTW, I loved the episode!

Maybe I’m the only one, but I do not like getting photo cards. I never know what to do with them after Christmas is over. I don’t feel right about throwing away pictures of other people, and I don’t really want to save them either.
